Description:
What do you wear for a casual day in one of the dressiest places on earth? If you’re Madra Lord, we suggest it would be something like our Golden Riviera collection. After a morning of sunbathing au natural, you start your afternoon on the balcony in a beautifully draped sleeveless satin top and slender pants the shade of the deep pink bougainvillea spilling from the trellis. For a leisurely stroll to a late lunch, you slip into sparkling white oxfords trimmed with golden buckles and a quilted satin coat, gored at the waist, buttoned down the front and flared into the shape of a child’s drawing of a dress. You carry your daffodil yellow cloche in case there’s a breeze. Lunch can last for hours and you have just enough time to slip home and into the sweetest white dress, sleeveless and pleated into a horizontal chevron at the dropped waist. You add a recently acquired pearl and jewel choker to your neckline and your early evening ensemble is ready for card-playing ex-patriots and cocktails. Someone suggests dinner on his yacht, so you throw on a golden cardigan, spangled in sequins and cut like a cozy sweater and after changing out of your white pumps and into high-heel gold metallic sandals, you’re ready for the cool winds of fate, as well as the breeze on the bay.

Layaway Plan Details
Our layaway plan allows you to pay for your purchase in four equal payments: 25% when you place your order and 25% each month for the next three months.
Layaway items are shipped when paid in full.
Please note:
1. Each layaway order must be a minimum of $100.00 in total payments ($25.00 or more each payment).
2. Credit card payments are automatically deducted the same day each month.
3. If you choose to make payments by check or money order, it is your responsibility to get the payments to us in a timely manner. We do not send statements or reminders. Payments should be mailed to:

4. Layaway payments are not refundable and non-transferrable to other orders.
5. The Matilda Company reserves the right to cancel any layaway order when no payment is received, or credit card payment is not approved, for any 60 day period.
