Description:
The Color Deal girls are studies in variation on a basic 1950s’ silhouette. Dressed in brightly toned twill afternoon dresses of intricate cut and simple shape, our girls – Ivy, Gene, and Madra – are the clear-cut winners in this deal. Basically, our girls are exploring three versions of volume. All three women are wearing color-coordinated jewel-toned earrings and are accessorized with sparkling white lace-up mules, gloves, and scarves. These dresses are so beautifully cut as to be classic. Meet Ivy Jordan, Gene Marshall’s wise-cracking best friend, always one with a punch-line or witty observation. A child of Hollywood with both of her parents in ‘the biz’ Ivy, or “Vee” as Gene nicknamed her, is Gene’s truest friend and closest ally in Hollywood. A character actress with an eye towards directing someday, Ivy Jordan is a girl to watch. Ivy wears a coral dress with a lovely fitted bodice and tulip skirt sporting tiny pleats at the hips. Her brunette bob and bangs are an American classic mid-20th century hairstyle and complement her warm brown eyes and easy take on life.

Layaway Plan Details
Our layaway plan allows you to pay for your purchase in four equal payments: 25% when you place your order and 25% each month for the next three months.
Layaway items are shipped when paid in full.
Please note:
1. Each layaway order must be a minimum of $100.00 in total payments ($25.00 or more each payment).
2. Credit card payments are automatically deducted the same day each month.
3. If you choose to make payments by check or money order, it is your responsibility to get the payments to us in a timely manner. We do not send statements or reminders. Payments should be mailed to:

4. Layaway payments are not refundable and non-transferrable to other orders.
5. The Matilda Company reserves the right to cancel any layaway order when no payment is received, or credit card payment is not approved, for any 60 day period.
