Description:
Black Calla is a dramatic 1930s’ evening suit, long and lean like the sculptural blossom that is its namesake. The fitted jacket is cut of black faille and finished with satin cuffs and tapered waistband. The skirt is a form-fitting column of black satin, tapered through the thighs and flared into an inky black train. A sparkling white georgette blouse is long-sleeved with ruffles at the cuffs and collar, looking like nothing so much as bouquets of calla lilies. This lavishly ruffled neckline rests upon the circular faille lapels of the trim top. A “diamond” broach is worn at the bodice and matches the glittering earrings and hair clip. Black pumps, trimmed at the toes with jewels, are the finishing touch to Black Calla’s ultra-sleek sophistication.

Layaway Plan Details
Our layaway plan allows you to pay for your purchase in four equal payments: 25% when you place your order and 25% each month for the next three months.
Layaway items are shipped when paid in full.
Please note:
1. Each layaway order must be a minimum of $100.00 in total payments ($25.00 or more each payment).
2. Credit card payments are automatically deducted the same day each month.
3. If you choose to make payments by check or money order, it is your responsibility to get the payments to us in a timely manner. We do not send statements or reminders. Payments should be mailed to:

4. Layaway payments are not refundable and non-transferrable to other orders.
5. The Matilda Company reserves the right to cancel any layaway order when no payment is received, or credit card payment is not approved, for any 60 day period.
